This animation was designed and produced to introduce fire codes according to the American National Firefighting Association (NFPA) standard for presentations in oil, gas and petrochemical complexes.

PRODUCTION

Production of this animation is based on the code that was provided by the National Petrochemical Company.

Specified codes were illustrated, first and then they were animated to make the message more tangible and transparent.

This animation production process lasted about three months. Throughout the animation the views and locations changed with the constant movement of the camera.

Story & Screenplay

Due to the large number of fire codes with specific categories (Test, Design, Installation, Operation, Construction) and associated images, the animation’s duration had to be managed in such a way that it would not be boring.

For this reason, the scenes are arranged in such a way that the required content can be viewed in the fastest time by moving the camera and displaying all subjects.

This animation contains two parts:

The first part, Public fire codes used in public spaces such as homes, hospitals and small workshops, schools and universities and another part, that Includes large sites and workshops such as petrochemicals and factories.

Characters

Due to the many scenes and situations in this animation, a large number of characters have been designed and executed (over fifty human characters).

All of the characters in this animation are animated.

Graphic & Backgrounds

The animation required different positions and locations to demonstrate different fire codes in the animation.

To demonstrate different fire codes in the animation, need to be exhibited in different situations and locations. To accomplish this, various scenes such as harbor, water treatment, hospital, school, fire station, warehouse, emergency medical center, road, factory, petrochemical, accident site, terrorist location, etc. have been designed and implemented.

Music & Sound design

No sound effects were used in the animation, and the entire animation was covered with selective music.
